2 Mukhi Rudraksha (Two Faced Rudraksha) is believed to be the combined form of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. It has two natural lines on its sides. According to ancient mythology, Lord Brahma blessed both the deities to come so close that they melted into each other (Ardhnarishwar form).  Ardhnarishwar form of Lord Shiva is the most powerful and the revered one as it represents the unification of Shiva and Shakti (Man and Woman). On Monday after buying the holy bead, prepare a mixture of milk, desi ghee, honey, sugar  and gangajal (called Panchamrit) in a bowl and put Rudraksha in it. After taking a bath, light a diya or an incense stick and worship your favorite God. Chant the Mantra “Om Hreem Namah” or “Om Namah Shivay” atleast 108 times. Thereafter show incense or lamp to Rudraksh, wash it with Gangajal and wear Rudraksha around your neck. The Rudraksh can be worn in silk/woolen thread, and can be capped in gold or silver. Give the mixture  in the bowl to the Tulsi plant, or if there is no Tulsi plant, offer it to the Ficus Religios (Peepal) tree.
