Any rudkrash irrespective of number of faces ,if has the appearance of the elephant’s trunk ,it is called ganesha rudraksh . This is the symbol of lord ganesha . ashtamukhi (8 faced ) and ekadashi mukhi(11faced) rudraksh are more significant as they are considered most auspicious .
