16 Mukhi Rudraksha :- The Shodashmukhi bead is called “Jai” Rudraksha Its supernatural power protects the wearer from theft or fraud – and gives victory over opponents. As a result of this Rudraksha being devoted to Maryadapurushottam Lord Shri Ram (picture 25), it makes the wearer with ideal human qualities, such as following high family decency and ethics etc. This Rudraksha is also blessed by Mahakal, who destroys the fear of time and death in the wearer.Those who have any kind of planetary defect in their horoscope, it helps to remove planetary obstacles. This Rudraksha gives inner strength, which removes the fear of separation from the dear one, the fear of being accused of misdeeds, worries before marriage, the fear of being reflected from one’s element, and the fear of death.
On hearing the news of Sati’s sacrifice, Shivji got angry and assumed the fierce form of Mahakal. The Mahamrityunjaya mantra given by Shukracharya was the best to please Mahakal Shiva. According to the Markandeya Purana, this mantra protected the sage Markandeya. Even today people chant this mantra to remove the fear of death and any other fear. It is also called Mantraraj. Shodashmukhi Rudraksha should be specially energized by Mahamrityunjaya Mantra – Mahakal Shiva is pleased with it.
Who should wear it?
A person desirous of getting victory over fraud, fear of death and enemies should wear Shodashmukhi Rudraksha. It can be worn alone or in combination with other Rudrakshas in one or more numbers.

16 मुखी रुद्राक्ष :- (षोडशमुखी रुद्राक्ष) 16 मुखी रुद्राक्ष:- षोडशमुखी मनके को "जय" रुद्राक्ष कहा जाता है, इसकी अलौकिक शक्ति पहनने वाले को चोरी या धोखाधड़ी से बचाती है - और विरोधियों पर जीत दिलाती है। यह रुद्राक्ष मर्यादापुरुषोत्तम भगवान श्री राम (चित्र 25) को समर्पित होने के परिणामस्वरूप, यह पहनने वाले को उच्च पारिवारिक शालीनता और नैतिकता का पालन करने जैसे आदर्श मानवीय गुणों से युक्त बनाता है। इस रुद्राक्ष को महाकाल का भी आशीर्वाद प्राप्त है, जो भय का नाश करता है। इसे पहनने वाले के जीवन में काल और मृत्यु आती है। जिन लोगों की कुंडली में किसी भी प्रकार का ग्रह दोष हो तो यह ग्रह बाधाओं को दूर करने में मदद करता है। यह रुद्राक्ष आंतरिक शक्ति देता है, जो किसी प्रियजन से अलग होने का डर, दुष्कर्म का आरोप लगने का डर, शादी से पहले चिंता, किसी के तत्व से दूर होने का डर और मृत्यु का डर दूर करता है। सती के बलिदान की खबर सुनकर शिवजी क्रोधित हो गए और उन्होंने महाकाल का रौद्र रूप धारण कर लिया। महाकाल शिव को प्रसन्न करने के लिए शुक्राचार्य द्वारा दिया गया महामृत्युंजय मंत्र सर्वोत्तम था। मार्कण्डेय पुराण के अनुसार इस मंत्र ने मार्कण्डेय ऋषि की रक्षा की थी। आज भी लोग मृत्यु भय या अन्य भय को दूर करने के लिए इस मंत्र का जाप करते हैं। इसे मंत्रराज भी कहा जाता है। षोडशमुखी रुद्राक्ष को विशेष रूप से महामृत्युंजय मंत्र से अभिमंत्रित करना चाहिए - इससे महाकाल शिव प्रसन्न होते हैं। इसे किसे पहनना चाहिए? धोखाधड़ी, मृत्यु भय और शत्रुओं पर विजय पाने की इच्छा रखने वाले व्यक्ति को षोडशमुखी रुद्राक्ष धारण करना चाहिए। इसे अकेले या एक या अधिक संख्या में अन्य रुद्राक्षों के साथ संयोजन में पहना जा सकता है। षोडशमुखी रुद्राक्ष से जपने योग्य मंत्र हैं: महामृत्युंजय मंत्र ॐ हौं जूं सः ॐ ह्रीं ह्रीं नमः ओम नम शिवाय
